At Great Revival Gospel Ministries, Water Baptism is one of our most sacred and joyous activities. It is more than just a ritual; it is a milestone event where we gather as a church family to witness the power of God’s grace in the lives of individuals.
Our Practice
We follow the biblical model of immersion. Just as Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River, we celebrate this activity by fully immersing believers in water, symbolizing the complete washing away of the old self and the emergence of a new creation in Christ.
Why We Do This Activity
As a central pillar of our Great Commission mandate, we conduct baptisms to:
Affirm New Believers: It provides a formal “welcome” into the body of Christ.
Strengthen the Church: Seeing others take this step revives the faith of the entire congregation.
Demonstrate Obedience: We actively fulfill the command of Jesus to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
How to Participate
This activity is open to anyone who has made a personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ. We hold baptismal services regularly throughout the year.
